Gorion knows what is going on but will not tell the player character, and instead decides to leave Candlekeep and journey with the player character to a hiding place. However, the night after leaving Candlekeep they are ambushed by a group of bandits led by a mysterious "armored figure". When Gorion refuses to hand over the player character, he is attacked by the bandits; Gorion defeats them but dies in doing so. The player character soon runs into Imoen, who had been following in secret after reading a note about the journey on Gorion's desk. She too saw Gorion's murder, and now insists on accompanying the character.
Actions are generally limited by one per turn unless your character has special features. These actions include weapon attacks and spells, as well as general abilities Dash, Disengage, Throw, and Hide. Rogues can perform some of these actions as a Bonus Action! Actions are noted by a green circle.

Some encounters are going to stick with me for a long time. There are all the fights against veritable armies that I went into entirely unprepared, of course, resulting in hours of shouting and then joyous cheers when I finally figured out the sneakiest ways to win them. Then o aprendiz there was the time when I had only a handful of turns to rescue a bunch of folk from an exploding prison while fish-people with nets tried to slow me down and murder me.
I am really happy to be involved at this stage with the development of this game, and is quite exciting. Hoping that multi play options running dungeons with other players will be Perfeito awsum. It is the multi play element, and on-line co-op playing, maybe eventually friendly pvp might be a future options. Need to play more to give more input. :)
The protagonist then becomes involved in the fate of the Emerald Grove, where local druids and tiefling refugees face off against the goblin horde that worships a cult of the "Absolute". The protagonist wakes up inside a giant dimension-crossing illithid (mind flayer) flying ship. They are implanted with a parasitic tadpole that enthrals and transforms people into illithids; however, the transformation does not happen, and the ship comes under attack from githyanki warriors.
The lore tends to skew towards a more lawful good angle, but if you want to play an evil character it's absolutely possible- just pick the options that seem to contradict the story.
